This is the finished picture taken at dusk. The only thing we have to get done are the caps on the columns on our porch. It has taken almost 2 months to reach this point. I will be looking forward to drinking my coffee and watching others plow there homes as I stay inside and marvel the new look. We are so lucky to have my mother help with this project because I could not of done this myself. Putting colors together was more than I was able to do and she did this with ease. Thanks mom for your help Terry and I are grateful for this. We LOVE our new look to the house.Saturday, November 1, 2008
A JOB WELL DONE
This is the finished picture taken at dusk. The only thing we have to get done are the caps on the columns on our porch. It has taken almost 2 months to reach this point. I will be looking forward to drinking my coffee and watching others plow there homes as I stay inside and marvel the new look. We are so lucky to have my mother help with this project because I could not of done this myself. Putting colors together was more than I was able to do and she did this with ease. Thanks mom for your help Terry and I are grateful for this. We LOVE our new look to the house.FINISHED AT LAST
PROGESS AND ABOUT DONE
As you can see Terry is having to "help" the railing people install our railing. You see when they took them down to take to there location to paint they also added that they would reinstall them. The cost was as much to paint as it was to take down but I wanted them to take them down so they would not ruin our new radiant heat new poured stamped porch.
When they finally came to install them Terry asked them to install them better than they were originally done because of security and stability. They called there boss and he told them not to install them if that was what we wanted. Terry said fine I will do it than because your way will make the railing come lose again and someone will fall off. So it was decided that they would install ONLY the bottom and Terry would install the tops. After watching Terry install the tops they than told him "that is an easier way to install them and I can see why you wanted them this way." Terry was able to keep up with them and could of passed them by if they would of worked any slower. As you can see the one guy that also came along to help only watched the WHOLE time. Not sure why he was there only to get hours I guess. Anyway, the railing is finally up before the trick or treat kids come and will not fall off the porch.

Soccer has Ended for the 2008 Season
Clay
has finished his first season coaching the soccer team. Today it was bitter cold. When the teams got to the field we were told the games were cancelled due to the snow coming down and winds. But you know kids they were eager to play. With the wind blowing and kids running around both coaches decided to just let the kids play since TODAY WAS TROPHY DAY!!! Last game they all get trophies and they were SO EXCITED. Parents and grand parents froze but we cheered the kids on. Finally the game was over and they were awarded the trophies and a season well d
one. CONGRATS to all you. Grandma and Grandpa love our little guys so much. They give it there all.

We are almost done with the cement being poured. They have about 3 days left and than they will go back and give this look to the whole driveway. This section is complete. Ron does a great job and is such an artist. You would never know this is just a stamp because of all his detail work he is doing on each and every block. Sometimes he spends 20 minutes just on one block to give it just the right dimension and textures of a real stone.

Adorable Maria Louisa
This beautiful little child Maria Louisa and her new mother sit together admiring her new clothes that I had purchased for her. My dear sister LeeAnn helped place her with this sweet family after the family she was in decided it was to hard on them and there children
to keep her.
It was a dream come true for the new family. Maria Louisa loves her new home and 2 older brothers. Her new room is beautifuly painted in her favorite color PINK. Her new mom and dad have said she is like "she has always been a part of our family." I am so grateful for this family and better yet they would like us to be able to keep in touch with her. I will cherish the times I will be able to see her. We love you Maria Louisa and will always be a part of your new family.
